Metabolife Causes PPH

September 30th, 2008 · No Comments

A Texas police chief who was trying to stay trim back in the 1990s has recently learned the true effects of the Metabolife that he took to stay thin. Unfortunately, the Metabolife contained primary pulmonary hypertension causing ephedra.

According to Leo Longoria, the police chief, he began to experience a rapid heart rate and high blood pressure only 2 years after taking Metabolife. Realizing the damaging effects the drug had had on his body, he filed a lawsuit against the makers of Metabolife.

Ephedra was banned in the U.S. in 2004, following the discovery of the link between PPH and ephedra products. If you’ve developed PPH as a result of using a diet pill, contact a PPH lawyer at Williams Kherkher by calling 866-950-9000.
