A lawsuit has been filed in a federal district court in Texarkana alleging that GlaxoSmithKline, the maker of Avandia, is engaged in persistent fraud by misrepresenting, concealing or failing to disclose information regarding the safety and effectiveness of Avandia.
The lawsuit was filed by a woman from Texas and a man from Arkansas. They are specifically alleging that GSK negligently allowed for positive information concerning Avandia be disclosed while negative information about Avandia’s safety and effectiveness was withheld or concealed.
If you have been diagnosed with Primary Pulmonary Hypertension (PPH) following the use of Avandia to control blood sugar, contact the PPH lawsuit attorneys of Williams Kherkher at 1-866-950-9000 to discuss your case and to determine your legal options.
