A 2007 law that requires all clinical studies of new medications, except Phase-1 Safety Studies, is increasing the amount of information available to patients and doctors alike.
This new law is particularly useful because pharmaceutical companies frequently don’t disclose any negative results of their clinical trials. In addition, they don’t publish results that show very little difference between the placebo and the drug being tested.
This new law is beneficial as it has been shown in the past with drugs like Avandia and Vioxx that drug companies might have had an inkling of the drugs not working quite as planned prior to their release.
If you have been diagnosed with primary pulmonary hypertension following use of fen-phen or Avandia, contact the PPH lawsuit attorneys of Williams Kherkher at 1-866-950-9000 to discuss your case and to determine your legal options.
